2021 - YEAR IN REVIEW
Despite the continuation of the global pandemic due to Covid-19, this past year has been more active than 2020 was. After over a year of remote working, this is how our 2021 looked like:
Last spring, we were delighted to welcome Theater Neumarkt as the latest member to join the Theatron family!
The Neumarkt is a theatre located in Zürich, Switzerland. The building dates from 1742 and since 1966 it houses the present theatre. It has a main stage of about 170 seats and a smaller secondary venue of about 40 seats.
Theatron is in continuous development and so we have kept developing new features and improvements to the system, such as: history log of changes made in events, better lunch break management, new search fields, etc.
This year we have also paid special attention to customer tailored developments and getting their Theatron environment’s even more adapted to their specific needs.
We have now available 3 sets of different web forms integrated in Theatron: Project proposals, CV applications and Residency applications.
This allows to streamline the evaluation process, as all applicants send the same information in the same manner. Moreover, all the information can be found in the same place and always up to date, avoiding misplacing documents and relevant information.
Fairs & events
We arranged a webinar with our customers to keep them up to date on the latest Theatron developments and future ones as well.
From the 21st to the 24th of May 2021 we joined the online Broadway Stage Management Symposium. If you want to know more about it, you can read here a blog post talking about our experience.
And during the 30th of November and 1st of November 2021 we joined (in person!) Mercartes, a theatre fair in Valladolid (Spain), for the second time. On the 2nd of November we also joined the conference organized by the same organization, addressing the scenic arts sector in Spain.
